Julius Dugger was born 1787 (per Mrs. Vaught) in Washington Co, NC (now Carter Co, TN) and died 1792 (per Mrs. Vaught).
It seems unusual that Julius (1760) would name a child "Julius" if he already had one by that name (Julius Arnold Dugger), even though that other child was born out of wedlock. Since I've not seen the proof for either child, I can't speculate on why this is.
