No marriage record has been found for Jacob Smith and Mary Dugger but they were married as proven by several sources. His Will dated 1823 names Mary and their Smith children and he also names his Goodwin step-children. The Bible record of their daughter Celia Smith George lists "Jacob Smith and Mary Dugger" as her parents.
